Golden Student Bears is a global student-led organization dedicated to tackling the opportunity and socioeconomic achievement gap through social media campaigns, journalism, and direct college and career awareness.
On March of 2024, Golden Student Bears was founded in North Long Beach, CA and originally targeted California students. However over the years, the organization has expanded throughout the world-nearly one-quarter of students are from outside the US!
Our Programs
College and Career Text-line for Youth
First-ever college and career text-line for youth ages 14-21. Our organization has established this text-line back in January of 2026, and ever since we have answered 50+ questions and trained 5+ student responders.
Volunteer Program
Golden Student Bears offer a various career exploration and readiness volunteer positions in various fields including marketing, youth organizing development, and outreach.

Golden Student Bears Academy
College-Access and Career Development program for high school students ages 14 - 18 in the United States of America. Dedicated to educational equity, Golden Student Bears is currently developing a program to empower high school students by helping them navigate college admissions, explore careers, and develop a portfolio utilizing soft and hard skills taught throughout the program!
